Stray animals rescued in Thailand

Stray animals rescued in Thailand

In 2018 the WWAR Foundation helped several animals in Thailand. In Thailand the big problem is that there are many stray animals and especially dogs. It is not possible to do euthanasia because of Buddhism in Thailand . As a result, many stray animals suffer a poor existence.

Project Streetdogs Thailand

This year, WWAR therefore offered support to Project Streetdogs Thailand. This foundation helps stray animals in need in the province of Prachuap Khiri Khan in Thailand, in particular in the resort of Hua Hin and the surrounding area. The animals they receive come in poor condition. This is the reason why the animals often have to stay in the clinic for longer than normal. Because of this, the costs of the vet are high. The foundation has no shelter in Thailand and therefore has to put the animals back on the street after treatment.

In addition to helping some animals with a serious condition, many animals have also been sterilized. This is to prevent more stray animals coming to Thailand.

Help WWAR

More help is needed for this in 2019. These kind of projects must and must continue to be supported. Great work is being done in Thailand and of course in other countries. WWAR will continue to realize future animal shelters, will you help keep WWAR doing this?
